Customer Review:YearsI have been using the Nelson traveling sprinklers for over 20 years and am completely satisfied. I have purchased repair parts for our old one and it is still working as if it was new. A competitor went out of business and left us with an unrepairable unit. Excellent Purchase!I am very happy I made this purchase--this was well worth the amount I spent. The fact that this travels all over the yard makes watering much easier! No more having to go outside and move the sprinkler every 15-20 minutes! Great little sprinkler....I have used my Nelson for 2 seasons now and it has been a great helper around the yard. I love being able to set it up and forget about it. It has been very dependable and keeps our yard looking great. I really did not want to trench up my lot to install a sprinkling system- and this tractor has made that possible. I would have given it 5 stars but the "off-ramp" is made of a plastic that became brittle and broke after only 1 year of service.
If you need an easy way to water a 1/3 to 1 acre lot, this is it! Enjoy. Keywords: Landscaping Tools; Watering Equipment; Sprinklers; Traveling Sprinklers;

Porter-Cable PN650 Palm Nailer KitPorter-Cable's palm nailer is growing in popularity among both woodworkers and contractors alike--and for good reason. At first glance, it doesnt look like much of a powerhouse, but connect it to even a small compressor and youre driving 6-inch nails no problem. Another great feature: youre not restricted to one type of nail. Fatigue is minimal, thanks to its light weight (just 2-1/2 pounds!) and ergonomic design. The kit comes with a "no-mar" finish tip, a magnetic tip for driving 3d to 16d common nails, a standard tip for common nails up to 70d, and a steel hammer kit for moldings, dowels, and automotive body work. In hand, its super light, compact, and the leather glove makes it a pleasure to use, fitting into nearly any space your hand can get into. Of course, you do have to feed one nail at a time, but this tough little gun is going to drive nails in areas other nail guns would never fit. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste
FuturesOne year warranty;Four interchangeable nose tips designed to tackle a wide variety of applications, from finish nailing to auto body work;Compact, ergonomic design and leather wrap for added comfort and control;Depth-of-drive control and a fastener range of 1-1/4 to 6-1/2 inches (standard 3d to 70d long nails);Multi-bow action (2,300 bpm at 100 psi);
Customer Review:A complete packageThe PN650 Palm Nailer Kit comes in a plastic case that has everything you need neatly packaged for use or storage. I like tool cases. Cases keep parts from getting lost, and tools from picking up excess dust and dirt while not being used. Nailers have small, interchangable parts that need safe storage. The PN650 does its job, and does it well. My first use for it was between deck joists and stair stringers where my framing nailer would not fit. Porter-Cable has a good reputation, and you won't go wrong with this kit. What a great helper to have!I thought I would add a recent review so that folks know this little guy is still fabulous. I have real wood siding and the nails tend to back out with the hot and cold, wet and dry expanding and contracting. I had many 10's of nails backed out 1 half inch or so. So this was a lifesaver - there is no way I could have done as good a job pushing so many existing nails back in with a hammer and nail set and not make a mess. Since the nails are set just below the surface level this really helped where the nail head was tilted or warped from the original nailing - a nailset would have been impossible. It's easy to control in terms of depth and quickly and easily put my old nails back where they belong.
Using it in new construction, I find that getting nails started straight takes a little practice. If the nail is not angled right, the tool makes short work of getting it driven in at the wrong angle. For precision work, starting the nail with a small hammer would help. A glove helps a lot to steady nails at the start. If you've got a lot of repetitive work (finish or framing, etc., an conventional nailer may be a better choice. But for occasional use, you can't be the price with this one.
It's also a bit noisy - like a giant woodpecker! But it's not louder than hammering nails conventionally, it's just a lot faster.
It's easy to hold and easy on the hands. I don't do a lot of work, and when I saw this I just had to have it, considering the price of finish and framing nailers. I've been really happy with it. It's perfect for the do-it-yourselfer. From a Pro ContractorI formerly had a Danair palm nailer and a Senco. The Senco had a leaky gasket that I had to tighten the bejeezus out of and it still leaked a little air. The Senco also came without any accessories. The Danair had a problem with the tip always coming loose. The padded leather grip was the nicest on the Danair. The Senco came bare metal. Without the leather grip it becomes very uncomfortable to use.
I use a Porter Cable now. I like that for the price it comes with several tips for different size nails. The leather grip is also standard. I have been using the Porter Cable for about two years now without a problem. I used it to nail 20d HD galvie commons . Using a hammer for such a large nail would likely leave a mark if you missed and all the heavy pounding would have been pretty tiring. I use the palm nailer for nailing tile backer, joist hangers, nailing in tight spots and for spikes. Changing tips is easy with the wrench supplied.
I only rated it four stars because the magnetic tip lost it's magnetism early on so now I have to hold every nail to start it. This palm nailer is the best value out there. It has held up to lots of abuse so far. Keywords: Porter-Cable; (Portercable); Air Tools; Nailers; Finish Nailers; (Nail Guns); (Nailguns);

DEWALT DW920K-2 7.2-Volt Heavy Duty Cordless Screwdriver KitCordless screwdrivers are nothing new, but this model from DeWalt puts a heavy-duty twist on the idea, and professionals are sure to appreciate it. DeWalt's 7.2-volt has the most powerful battery pack of any cordless screwdriver on the market, without sacrificing compact design. This screwdriver gets into all the tight spots cordless drills can't, and unlike other cordless screwdrivers, it won't leave you wishing for more power once there. Its 80 inch-pounds of torque is beyond even the toughest competing model, and with 16 clutch settings, it's easy to avoid stripping out screws. We also like this tool's quick-change keyless chuck and the extra maneuverability provided by the two-position handle. This is a generous kit, including the driver, a charger, two batteries, two bits, and a tough case. It may not be a revolution, but it does seem to be the first serious cordless screwdriver designed with professionals in mind. --Brian Trinen

Customer Review:my goto toolI'm really surprised I haven't burnt this little driver up or fried the batteries. I use it for everything. I'm a big fan of the bits with the hex loc (whatever they're calling it) I have one of the big craftsman sets of drill bits and driver bits. I swear I didn't need to buy my 18V dewalt drill at all because I use the 7.2 for things I wouldn't have thought it could handle. I drove most of the screws in my deck with this thing. With the craftsman bit set, and the 7.2...I rarely need any other tools when I'm doing little jobs around the house. In fact...I use my dewalt 4pak combo so little, the batteries stopped working. (that's a whole different peev with DW). I cringed at the price of the 7.2, but I dont regret it. I only have three complaints. 1) I cant find a holster anywhere that will hold this thing securely. It flaps around or slides out of every holster I've tried. They should have included some kind of holder and even included the little asessory flip pouch I paid extra for. At $100, you'd think it would be a no brainer. 2) It is just a little heavy for a general purpose driver. I almost bought one of those little millwaulkee ones(2.4V I think), but the price wasn't much better, and it cant drill or do half what the dewalt can. With a bit in the dewalt, the sheer size and weight make it a bit clumsy when you have it on your hip (even more reason to include a special holster). 3) They should have included more adjustability in the pivot. I use it locked at the angle all the time, but sometimes I wish it would lock at degrees inbetween. It would be nice if it would bend a bit further also. (I'm sure 90degrees would be out of the question, but I'm no engineer). Okay...well I just thought of a 4th idea...They should make a small regular chuck that you could slip in there, just in case you need to use a bit without the hex-loc. All in all...this is one of my favorite tools in the garage. very useful toolI love using this driver. Its got plenty of umph for its size. Great Cordless Screwdriver!!!I own numerous cordless drills and cordless screwdrivers. This one really fills the gap. Light weight and strong power, for its size. I do a lot of electrical work, which entails drywall repair amongst other things. It has enough power to drive drywall screws in, yet small enough to get into those small places. I wouldn't sheet rock a room but it's great for small jobs. Attaching cabinet hinges, electrical work and driving hex nuts, it works great in all applications. Really beats the pants off of the B&D 3 volt screw drivers. The clutch has excellent range. At the 1 setting you can drive screws into a switch face plate without breaking the plate. The higher numbers correspond almost exactly to the release pressure of my other DeWALT drills.
I knocked off one star due to the poor quick release design. By the way, it hasn't been fixed. When you push the sleeve back, towards the screw driver, it releases the bit. Like others have said, when you bump it or put it in your tool belt the bit can release. It hasn't been a huge problem, just an annoying issue. The problem is that there is a small spring that helps release the bit. So it shoots it across the room. It really doesn't make any sense, since their impact drivers have the release mechanism going in the opposite direction. That said, I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone. Hopefully, some day, DeWALT will act on these reviews. For the price this is a great deal. The batteries have long run times and the charger is the latest 3 mode version which allows you to leave the battery in the charger all the time without damaging the battery. In fact that is what they recommend, keep one in the charger at all times. It charges, conditions and then maintains a trickle charge after that. I wish that I would have purchase this item long ago. Have fun.
Update: I have now been using this tool for about 6 months. It still works flawlessly. I would like to add a note on the quick release. I think that DeWALT's thinking on the way the bit releases is for ease of use and quick action. Typically if you are using this tool, you will be changing from flat head to phillips again and again. By tapping the release the bit quickly pops out and to attach a new one you just shove it in. If, like on their impact driver, you had a locking mechanism it would be more difficult to release and install the bit. This is supposed to be for light duty work. This cordless screwdriver is now the first tool into my bag for any project. I can't imagine leaving home without it. Keywords: DeWalt; (De Walt); Cordless Tools; (Volt); (V); In-Line Screwdrivers;

Customer Review:Damage in shipment.The bottom portion of the sprayer had a piece of plastic broken. It is the Front Base Housing, part number W2FBHSG. I can replace this item if I had it. Do you send replacements for broken parts or do I call Gilmour? Please advise. William J. Cobb Still working great a year laterUnlike other cheaper sprayers I have bought, this one is still as good as new after a year of hard use. I keep it filled with Roundup with the squirter end hanging squirt side up when not in use. I have never emptied or cleaned the container. It rolls and pressurizes easily on grass or rock but slides over concrete.
Before I got this sprayer, I had to tote around 1 gallon sprayers, refilling several times, to maintain my 8 acre property. Now I just fill this baby up once and pull it easily behind me. Great Invention!This thing is fantastic. no more stopping to pump, just fill and go. Although I have to admit that when full and pulling it accross a two acre lawn it can be pretty heavy. Overall though it works great. Keywords: Landscaping Tools; Hand Tools; Sprayers;
